After Care Instructions to Follow

 

  • -Most clients have minimal redness for 12–24 hours.

    -Depending on the treatment time for the procedure, your client may experience skin flaking for 3–7 days.

    - Important! Do not pick or pull at any loose skin, as this can cause hyperpigmentation or scarring.

    -On the day of the peel the client should not wash the face, not use facial care products or perform any facial procedures.

    -The next day following the procedure, in the morning and in the evening, your client should wash their face with water and apply the Zena Post Treatment Gel. One time only next morning.

    -Do not put the face directly into a hot shower spray.

    -Do not use a steam room, jacuzzi or sauna.

    -Do not go swimming – pool or beach.

    -From the first to 7-10 days after the Zena Algae peeling procedure, exclude the use of creams, gels and lotions and other facial care products to ensure a deep peeling effect. Only use mineral sunscreen powder with SPF.

    -Avoid direct sun exposure and excessive heat for at least 7 days (getting overheated internally can cause hyperpigmentation).

  • -Do not wash face for 24 hrs to ensure all ingredients have been properly absorbed into the skin for optimal results.

    -Wear SPF if out in the sun

    -Do not exfoliate 48hrs after

    -Follow the at home routine your esthetician assigned to you

  • -Do not wet brows/lashes 24 hours after your appointment. Getting them wet will result in poor or no results.

    -No sweat, gym, saunas, steam, excessive heat, or makeup for 24 hrs.

    -Try to avoid touching the hairs

    -Castor oil may be applied daily or before bed to keep the hairs hydrated.

    -Brush lashes/brows daily to manipulate the direction you want the hair to go.

    -Come back in 6-8 weeks
